The Importance of:
Attack & Defense Card Ratios
While playing LoC it is important to have the best Attack and Defense line that you can have for the cards you own. One way to do this is to gain "parameter points" when you "quest". But those points only go so far when it comes to using certain cards for attacking or defending.
Now I am going to show you how to maximize your attack and defense with the cards you have so that your points are being put to the best use possible!
The first thing you need to pay attention to is "Your Element". When you started the game, you selected either forest, fire, or water for an element. This is important as it should dictate the element of cards you should focus on getting. You need to build an Attack and Defense line of ONLY cards in your element. These cards should have the best skill for what line you are building: Attack skills and drops in defense for your Attack line, and Defense skills and drops in Attack for your defense line. Once you have your line built, you can focus on the second part of the discussion.
The second part is a bit tricky but will maximize your line. Look at the skills your "Attack line" cards have. Im going to give an example so you can see what I am saying.
Lets Say: (You are forest element), and you have 2 cards on your attack line with Medium boost to Forest attack, another 2 with small boost to forest attack, and 1 with a medium drop in water defense. You are going to want to "Skill level up" your 2 cards with Medium boost to forest attack. This will give you the greatest boost to your backline cards you can get. Once those cards skill levels are boosted you can work on the next part. The next thing you want to do is to find cards with the best attack ratio you can that match your skills that activate when you attack. Lets assume that the skills that activate most of the time are your Medium boost to forest attack. You want to find cards with a "High" Power-Attack Power ratio. By this I mean: Look for cards that have a low Power rating, yet a High Attack Power when fully enhanced. some examples for forest cards are below:
High Attack Ratio:
Undying Umbral, The Soul Eater pwr = 12 Attack(pm) = 9072 9072/12 = 756
Unbound Rockface Basilisk pwr = 11 Attack(pm) = 8050 8050/11 = 732
Medium Attack Ratio:
Seance Lushgrowth Leonard pwr = 12 Attack(pm) = 7560 7560/12 = 630
Therianthrope Empress pwr = 15 Attack(pm) = 9450 9450/15 = 630
Low Attack Ratio:
Ghoulish Annihilator pwr = 13 Attack(pm) = 7150 7150/13 = 550
Urging Silent Gyhldeptis pwr = 10 Attack(pm) = 5320 5320/10 = 532
Pay attention to the attack and defense cause some cards are suited for either one and not the other. A good example is the Urging Silent Gyhldeptis above. Take a look at it's Defense Ratio:
Urging Silent Gyhldeptis pwr = 10 Defense(pm) = 7280 7280/10 = 728
(728 = High Defense Ratio)
Pay attention to the attack and defense cause some cards are suited for either one and not the other. A good example is the Urging Silent Gyhldeptis above. Take a look at it's Defense Ratio:
Urging Silent Gyhldeptis pwr = 10 Defense(pm) = 7280 7280/10 = 728
(728 = High Defense Ratio)
I have developed a scale that I like to use to see if a card has High, Med, or Low ratios, here are the numbers:
High: 720+
Medium 719-620
Low 619-
There are cards with Higher and Lower attack ratio's than what I used. I am merely using these cards to demonstrate the example I was talking about. You will get the maximum for attack if you focus on using and pm'ing cards with Higher Ratio's. This works for both: ATTACK & DEFENSE, just substitute defense(pm) for attack(pm) in the formula and figure it out for your defense line!!! So use this to your advantage in the game. Also keep in mind, you can have as many multiples of one card in both your attack and defense backlines so stock up on cards with High ratio's for both your attack and defense backlines!!!
This is one of the most important factors to having a great line in the game! Do not let this hint pass you by!!! Please feel free to comment or add suggestions below. Thanks -KK
Great job of explaining it :)
